Project Description Fostering Futures is designed to help children remain in one foster home for a year.  Working with a Behavioral Specialist allows children with emotional and behavioral problems, and their foster families, to work through behavioral disruptions that would lead to the children being removed from the foster home.

Eligibility Criteria Children 3 – 19 years-old living in an out-of-home placement and attending school;  whose behaviors put them at imminent risk of moving from their current placement to another placement; or that have at least 3 discipline referrals to school personnel, and are at imminent risk of disruption in education due to expulsion, suspension, or detention. Additionally, foster parents and caregivers who are interested in improving the living and learning environments of youth with behavior and emotional problems are eligible for this program.
