Project Name Domestic Violence Emergency Sheltering Program


Project Description St. Martha’s Hall is a confidential emergency shelter for abused women and their children.  The program provides safe, clean shelter, 3 meals a day, individual bedrooms for each family, shower and laundry facilities, phone, fax, computer and internet access, clothes, personal hygiene items, school supplies, secured play area both indoors and outdoors and library with educational and recreational books and videos.  Support services are provided on three levels: assessment, intervention and prevention.


Eligibility Criteria

Dependent minor children accompanying mother to the shelter who are St. Louis County residents.  Shelter is for abused women 18 years of age and older or qualified minors, 16-17 years.
